Student Spotlight: Elle McCarthy

• 2nd grader, Elle McCarthy, wrote her very own book!
• The Wild Things is about a little boy and tigers who become a family in the jungle. They help to “sabotage” the people by cutting down the trees in their habitat.
• Elle wrote this during her free choice time in class.
• We were so impressed by the robust vocabulary in Elle’s story.
• Way to go Elle! We love to see students have a passion for writing!
